To play audio on a computer, you need a media player installed. Check your computer to see if you have one of the media players below. If not select one of the players below or another of the dozens of players freely available on the Web and follow the instructions to install it on your computer.

Sometimes, you will be asked if you want to open or save a file when you click on the listen links on our site. Media players have specific filetypes that they use to gather streaming audio. These can include m3u, pls, xspf, and wax. These files are perfectly safe, and you should choose to open the file to immediately start playing the stream. Depending on the player, you may need to try one or more filetypes. Once you find one that works, you can simply bookmark it for future use.
There are many players out there. We are not able to test them all. If your preferred player doesn’t work, we suggest you do a Google search or install a different player.
When you install a media player, you will often see pop-up windows asking you to make this player your “default player” (which simply means the player “claims” certain media types and will automatically launch in the future when music or videos of those types are played).
